This is an amazing track from an amazing album. Chad Smith’s drumming on Blood Sugar Sex Magik is the epitome of Funk Rock! Seriously groovy stuff which compliment Flea’s basslines perfectly! I’ve put my own twist on it by playing a sextuplet groove on the hi-hat/ride cymbal during the chorus instead of the actual shuffle beat Smith used on the recording!
